Last night I had the privilege of giving the devotion to our King's Kids group. Our devotion was about how we can't measure God's love, that he loves us so much that he sent his only begotten Son to die on the cross for us. I told the children that even when we have "nobody loves me, everybody hates me, guess I'll go eat worms" moments that God still loves us and that no matter what we can turn to him and to his word for love and comfort.
This morning I found myself saying "nobody loves me......." and thought "practice what you preach" so I took my bible and my diet pepsi :) and went and sat in the beautiful sunshine on my front porch. The Lord led me to Psalm 145 and this is what I read Psalm 145:8 The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion: slow to anger, and of great mercy.Wow! Talk about God just wrapping his arms around me and showing me that he loves me. I know that we get upset with people and get our feelings hurt but oh to be like Jesus Christ, full of compassion, slow to anger. If you have time today, read the 145th Psalm. God's love truly is unmeasured and so undesereved.

oh how we love our Jesus.
Well, we sure do love you!
I have had those moments and am so thankful for the Lord's mercy and love. Thank you for the reminder. I can't wait to hear about your Jubilee.
Amen, how good He is! We would do good to remember that always.
BTW, that's one of our favorite Patch songs, sing it all the time!
